Impressed my boss once when a very expensive wire edm stamping punch came in barrel shaped, and wouldn't fit in the holder. Scraped it to a perfect fit in an hour, with just an old file, saving the company over a thousand dollars and weeks of lead time!

Great book.I learned to scrape ways on a variety of machinery,mostly machine tools ,as an apprentice in the early 1960's. I saw this book and wanted to refresh that info. I am rebuildind a WWII lathe from a submarine. Your book has been a big help. THANKS,JG
